1. From the home page choose "What to eat" and pick what type of food you are interested in. To the right you will see a map of San Diego and to the left will be all the communities of San Diego. The highlighted communities on the left have the type of food you are looking for. The number tells you how many restaurants have your desired food in that community. Click on the one of the highlighted communities for details of the restaurant(s).
2. From the home page choose where to eat. Here you will get a map of San Diego County on the right divided by its most popular regions. On the left will be a list of each region their communities listed below. You can get a close up of each region by simply moving your mouse over the magnifying glass listed below the region. Decide on a community that you would like to search and click on it. You will now have a map and complete list of all the restaurants in that community. Click on a restaurant for individual details.
3. If you know a restaurant by name and would like to quickly look it up, simply type in the restaurants name into the "Keyword search" box to the left of any page. You can also use the keyword search box to look up a street and find all restaurants on that street. Just simply enter the street name in the keyword box.
4. From any page you can click on "advanced search" and search everything all at once including where to eat, what to eat, price range, happy hour, music, sports, and more. The advanced search is very specific so if you do not find a restaurant that you are looking for, try changing your search requirement.
5. New Feature, but you must first create an account (which is free) and log in to the left. Click on advanced search and enter your address. You will get a listing of all restaurants by order of which is closest.
